I'm a sucker for simple looks that create maximum impact. One of my style muses is Karrueche Tran for this very reason. She's a master at mixing wearable, everyday pieces with designer brands. The end result is pretty effortless and completely flawless.
Case in point, Karrueche was recently spotted wearing a fall look that, I believe, everyone could pull off. Maybe it's her petite frame, but Karreuche prefers to keep the outfit pieces simple and flattering. Her signature move is to elevate her looks by rocking a stunning pair of shoes.
And that's exactly what we see here as Karrueche is enjoying a leisurely day of shopping & running errands.
Her outfit is understated yet perfect. A blue turtleneck and distressed jeans. Very wearable. But when you pair that with some fierce blue booties and a statement Chanel Boy bag, everything about her look changes.
My first thought was a reflection on how I couldn't take my eyes off her shoes. They're the perfect length to wear all year round. I love the cuffing of the jeans which serve to feature the booties even more. After a little digging, I discovered that her stunner boots were designed by Gianvito Rossi. They are quite an investment, but I have to admit, the details are impeccable.
I've still need to save a few more pennies before I'm able to completely recreate this look, but, I tracked down some really cute alternatives. Truthfully, I didn't know how much I needed a pair of blue booties until now. But if blue isn't your color, I'm positive this look will still be flawless with a similar pair in nude, black or red. Even without the navy turtleneck, this pairing of a distressed, loose fitting jean & stiletto booties is giving me all the feels.
