Mascara Cocktails// The Makeup Artist Trick for Creating Spectacular Lashes.

Makeup

Wearing a mask every day has really brought my attention to the fact that I've really neglected my eyes.  I didn't really notice the tiny fine lines forming until I started covering half my face.  Now that I know, I've decided to take immediate action.

My first plan of action is to smooth out and brighten my eye area with the help of Peace Out Retin A Stick.

Phase Two of my plan involves paying a bit more attention to making my eyes appear more captivating.  Unfortunately, I was cursed with small eyes and even tinier lashes so I've got my work cut out for me.

You can imagine how excited I was to come across a mascara application technique that makeup artists swear by for thicker, fuller-looking lashes.

What I love best about this technique is that it doesn't require you to open your purse and purchase a new tube of mascara.  All you do is combine two of your favorite mascaras to create your perfect formula.

Apparently, this is an age-old school trick that celebrity makeup artists use all the time to create dramatic results.  There are a ton of mascaras on the market.  Each formula promises to give you the lashes of your dreams.  But, if we're being honest most mascara formulas are good...but not perfect. Doubling up on your mascara may be the only way to actually create lash perfection.

Deciding on which two mascaras to try for this experiment was a no-brainer.  My current favorites are:

- L'Oreal's Telescopic

-Heroine Make Super Waterproof Mascara

Individually, both of these mascaras are solid performers. But, when combined, they transform into my ultimate dream mascara.

I'm telling you....using two mascaras at once is a total game-changer.
