Remember when you searched high and low for the perfect shade of nude polish? That was a fun time but those days are over. Chances are that you have a few varieties of nude that you love and wear over and over. I'm guilty of always requesting some type of nude nail every single I walk into the nail salon.
It's time to do something different. Nude nails will always have a place but maybe it's time to modernize it a little. I'm here to propose that we experiment with a nude nail alternative that's universally flattering on brown skin.
White nails have been pretty popular for a while. I did get a white pedicure before going on vacation and loved it....but, I still couldn't find it within myself to make white my official staple polish of choice.
Enter, soft yellow nails.

Until recently, yellow nails haven't been on my radar. But, I've come across some inspiration that's changed everything. What's interesting about yellow is that it comes in an infinite number of hues. If you like your nails to have a bit more pizzaz, go brighter. Or, if you're in the market for a shade that's a bit more interesting than boring ol' nude, give soft yellow a second look.
If you asked for my opinion, I'd tell you that I prefer a soft yellow nail to stark white nails. I love how we can experiment with various shades in the yellow/orange family until we find the exact color that compliments our skin.
