I landed on a site where an entrepreneur shared his Fearless Friday strategy with his current mentors. On their Friday calls, each would be tasked to do something they feared. It didn't have to be anything grandiose, just taking a small act in the direction of their discomfort would suffice. I was beyond inspired and took on the Fearless Friday mentality. And, weeks later, I made the scariest decision of my life.
That was over a year ago. Today, I'm glad that I had the courage to take a stand for the life I desired. The other day, while conducting of my end of year decluttering, I came across a memento given by my former coworkers as a going away gift.

2015 is coming to an end. If you are no closer to your goals than you were at the end of 2014, I urge you to start heading in the direction of your destiny. You already know what life is like when you do nothing because you've been experiencing it for years. But what would it be like to experience everything you desire? One difference between people who go after what they want and those who don't, is how they relate to their fears.
99.99 percent of our fears don't exist in reality. Most of what we fear lives in our heads. Our job is to implement action as a way of invalidating our fears. That's what Fearless Friday is all about. It's about moving out of our heads and stepping into our destiny. Don't let another year go by with you being stuck in the same place because of so-called fears. Just take small, regular action and watch your progress accumulate. A year from now, you'll be glad you did.
