Style Chronicles// Happy Feet

OOTD
If there is one area that I've got to do better it's with regards to my shoe game.  I take enjoyment in buying accessories, and such, but shoes have been more out of necessity than from enjoyment.  "It's time to change all of that", I thought to myself as I drove down to my local Norstrom's Rack in search of something exciting.

I scored two pairs of heels which I absolutely love.  The first were a pair of Calvin Klein's that immediately caught my eye.

I love the mix of textures, part suede, part leather.  So far I took them out for a spin once and let me say, they've immediately become my favorite pair of heels.   I can't tell you how comfortable they are.  After an entire day of shopping, I still felt as good as when I first slipped them on.  The added inches  in height gave me a boost of confidence that I normally don't experience in flats.  Oh, and one person even asked me where I got them after giving me a compliment.  They're so perfect.

The second pair I picked up on the trip were these beige strapped sandals from Steve Madden.  They were available in black but I opted for the neutral instead. Although not as comfortable as my black heels, they make up for it with style points.

I'm not done yet, but hey, at least it's a good start.  Next on my list are a (comfy) pair of pointy toed heels.  Wish me luck.

  1. The black are nice! I have the Steve Madden's, they definitely are not very comfortable, but very chic!

  2. I love strappy sandles. They aren't the most comfortable, but they are so sexy!

  4. I tried the Steve Madden's and I love the look but they weren't comfortable at all. Hopefully you'll have better luck with them than me! Good selections! Both are classic shoes that are very versatile.
